Celebrating Our “Womanhood” through The Women of Facebook!
There are so many events in life to celebrate and the accomplishments outweigh any non-accomplishments. Since this site is about celebrating our Woman Hood – that is what I will concentrate on!
I am proud of being part of The Women of Facebook and the fact that each one of us that belongs to this incredible group have walked their own path, their own journey and for whatever reason – time has brought each one of us right here – right now – so many of us feel as if we were “BEAMED” up – like a vortex!
Is it to learn something from one another – is it to share ideas, is it to wake up each morning and visit with our friends for all over the world, even for a brief moment before our day starts? Isn’t that what a definition of a “girlfriend” is; to be there for someone, to laugh, to dry their tears and to bring each other up? I call each one of you my “BALCONY” friend….we are each other’s cheerleaders! It’s such a joy to know that when I close my eyes at night and awake in the morning – conversations have already started, encouragement is ALIVE and WELL!
Some posts may interest us and some not so much but nonetheless, the posts are stated – the smiles are shared and we can hear and feel each other’s joys, pains and accomplishments. The compassion that thrives in this group is breathtakingly beautiful and sincere.
So I celebrate each one of you for being here at this time in your life and for being part of this wonderful inspirational group of women! We all stand proud, tall and elated to be part of The Women of Facebook!

I just loved your post… This is exactly how I feel as well… I love to read about what my girlfriends and up to… Sometimes we support them, other times we celebrate with them… and most importantly we feel a wonderful sense of understanding on The women of facebook…

We do connect more with some then others,but nonetheless We are learning so much from each other and I know one day we will be able to create an event that all of us will be there and celebrating our Womanhood for sure.

So many times we have felt not good enough, not successful enough, not worthy of notice from others. But on this group I feel celebrated, enthusiastic, supported, and just loved by other women.

Aloha Nancy, I luv your post and insights. You are unbiased to be closed minded and I celebrate you for that. Although, I know we still have to selective in the things we welcome in our lives, but still open to our surroundings. I am glad you shared such an inspirational part of your perspective with womanhood, I think it is time to focus on this brilliant, loving, multitasking and beautiful creation God has created, besides men.. Nancy, Your insights are right on. You put this so well. No matter what something is always going on in this group. This group has made my morning, afternoons and evenings. This group has just taken off into something that is so wonderful and special. I just love it here too.
