Seeing Wisdom
When I first met Sandhan, I saw wisdom. I remember watching the video Sandhan made to enter the first contest on The Women of Facebook. I was in awe of how beautifully strong Sandhan appeared to me. I felt like a child listening to a wise and experienced women and I knew I was going to want to hear a lot more stories from her.
I Received a Strong Message…And Embraced It
Because Sandhan is such a wonderful part of the women of facebook and she participates inside the discussion every day, I have felt a strong connection with her and I loved her message. Meditating and taking more time to look inside of myself and “slow down” my pace is something I started to do when I met Sandhan.
Communicating Authentically
I witnessed how amazingly open and honest about her opinions and ideas Sandhan is, I developed an immense respect for how she engages with others. She says it like it is and even if not everyone agrees, that is not the intent of a discussion. That is where I see all the beauty of communicating authentically, and that when I started to realize that it was ok to not have everyone agree with you and that is also when I knew I would talk with Sandhan soon.
Deepening the Connection
I announced the winners of The Women of facebook contest the next month and Sandhan was on the conference call. After I pulled the winning names out of a hat, and announced the names, we congratulated them and then Sandhan said a few words to us. I remember as if it was yesterday how she had just finish a workout, her hair was up in a bun her cheeks had a nice shade of crimson red and she was smiling her beautiful smile.
An Experience I Will Never Forget
A few months after I first connected with Sandhan, we started our Conference Calls on The women of facebook and Sandhan prepared an amazing presentation about Em-Matrix. She had us experience a session and we were able to appreciate and learn a lot more about EmMatrix that way. I was impressed about what she does and how she does it. Sandhan is very gifted when it comes to understanding human nature and I trusted that having a session on my own would be a greatly beneficial… and it was
My EmMatrix Session
As it is very hard to explain since EmMatrix is something you experience, I just want to say that I still feel the benefits today. My EmMatrix Session lasted 90 minutes and it went by so fast. I was very relaxed and it was an amazing moment in my life. Something stayed with me and I can “access a state of being at peace” with the emotion Sandhan addressed during my EmMatrix Session.
My connection with Sandhan is a special one… I am so thankful that our path has crossed and because of our connection, I keep meeting amazing people!

I’m glad you liked the story of my connection..there will be many more to come..from me and from others wanting to share… I am comfortable in from of the camera now…but it was not always like that…I practiced a lot… now that camera is not there anymore…the people I want to tell the stories to are…

Its pretty late at night but I HAD to read this blog post and watch your video before I go to sleep and I’m just feeling the ‘warm fuzzies’ in my heart and have a silly big smile on my face; what a beautiful way to set off for the land of dreams…
Nathalie, I don’t know what to say… that you felt to honour me by having me as the first of your “Women That Connect” is priceless… and everything you said about me touches my soul. To be seen and appreciated for who I am and what I stand for, especially when you said the part about communicating authentically; this means a lot to me as I have had considerable trouble in my life (lives) for speaking out, standing up for my truth and speaking from the heart and being authentic. To be validated for this is HUGE.
i think that what starts out as our biggest test eventually turns into our greatest gift if we can work through the challenges.
Just now Kim Jensen said something about me being the matriarchal presence in TWOFB and i commented that i sometimes feel like a stealth bomber keeping the navigation on course… I guess i have had the benefit of being able to devote myself to some of the things others are only now starting to delve into and feel privileged to have people ask my opinion … and better still actually heed my advice and counsel.
