In order to train your brain and have the best possible results with your self development routine you need to give your body and specifically your brain what it need…Here are some tips to start building “Mindset Muscle”
What Does Your Brain Need?
We know the basics:
~ Oxygen | ~ Water | ~ Sleep | ~ Good Nutrition | ~ Exercise (Train Your Brain)
We also know what is bad for our brain:
~ Stress | ~ Insomnia | ~ Watching too much TV | ~ paying attention to Negative stuff | ~ Fast food
What’s Easy to do is Also Easy Not to do
Of course these are the basic things we all know and which should be easy enough to control and avoid but the thing is that sometimes what is easy to do is also easy not to do.
When Common Sense Comes Into Play
There is no clear line here on what we can call the perfect balance in giving our brain what it needs or what it doesn’t need. I mean a little stress can be good if it is put towards finishing a project which will give you satisfaction! Or a rich desert can be enjoyable when you are in good company and celebrating an occasion!
Dig For More of the Good Stuff
The main message here is to know that at the end of the day, if you give your brain more of the good stuff then you give it bad stuff…you will train you brain to respond to the positive and you naturally continue to weight the good and bad in everyday decision you have to make.
I believe that in order to achieve that balance, it’s all the little positive things that you do for yourself that will create the biggest change.
My Challenge…;)
I am starting to count my steps today! Yep 10,000 steps a day…What a cool challenge! I’m excited already because I know I can take it on…It’s manageable and easy to implement into my daily routine…That’s why it’s going to work… I’ll keep you updated on how I’m doing and hopefully you will join me in adding little changes to your life as well
